PLAYA BAVARO, PUNTA CANA
Situated at the East
of the Dominican Republic, where the most famous beaches of our
Island are located. Wide and endless white, smooth and fine sand
beaches, with millions of coconut
palms that lie all around and a barrier of corals all
around the coast under the calm and transparent waters. While
touring, there can also be found several typical Dominican fishing
villages. This zone has a very well organised hotel infrastructure,
and till now it’s been the most visited area from
tourists all around the world. The distance from the Punta Cana
international airport to the hotel resorts is about 20 kilometres.
Punta Cana is considered as one of the biggest tourist
attractions of the Dominican Republic. It offers around 50 kilometres
of beaches, a excellent hotel infrastructure, international airport,
facilities for all the sports, from trips in sailboats to the
some of the best golfcourses of the Caribbean and the
pleasure of tasting delicious seafood at the shore. It lies at the
oriental end of the island, exactly at the point where the Atlantic Ocean
meets the Caribbean. Adopted by European tourism few years ago, it
has some of the best known
Caribbean resorts. A report from the UNESCO recognizes Bavarian's
beaches as one of the best in the world.
